Perhaps one day the golf buggy will be recognised as a pioneer in this field. However, in recent years a number of alternatives have come into the market place and these include gas powered vehicles which are usually more powerful than their electrical counterparts.

There are a number of reasons for this but the primary one is obviously the fact that it is so convenient. It can be argued that this may well improve a person’s game as the extra energy that they would have exerted by walking around the course can now be put into playing their shots, resulting in a better score. Linked to this is the fact that an electric golf buggy means that a person does not have to carry their clubs the whole way around the course. This is especially a problem today with the massive bags and multiple clubs that people now take with them. This can again sap a great amount of energy from a player and it can even be argued that the constant exertion upon the back can actually result in serious injury over a sustained period of time.
